Weekend Health & Fitness Retreat at Catlins RiverRidge Retreat

We had great sunny Catlins weather for the latest weekend Health & Fitness Retreat!

I am absolutely loving taking these retreats, after having been working in the industry for15yrs, and owning a Health & Fitness Studio in Dunedin, and writing for the Otago Daily Times Body and Soul Section - it definitely is a passion!

We split into 3 groups for the exercises - beginners, intermediates, and advanced, so that everyone felt extra comfortable and relaxed. The mountain biking for these who chose this was really a Catlins Scenic Tour, as we visited all teh stunning waterfalls and sites.

The three 20minute presentations over the weekend were all based on strategies for lasting behavioural chnage - we personalised it all so that all 17 retreaters got the most from them.

I am sure the food was the greatest 'hit'! The menus werea all delicious yet extremely healthy - I think everyone was amazed, that with teh right menus, daily food can actually be delicious and satisfying, yet not affect the mid-line.

The reward at days end, was Indulgence beautician pampering for the ladies, and clay target shooting for teh gents.

All retreaters went home with programmes personlised 100% to them with their own unique behavioural change strategies to make it last.
